For over 35 years, SAIA has been the custodian of the South African auctioneering industry, providing a clear set of standards to promote ethical practice. As a recognised professional body, SAIA represents the interests of auctioneers throughout South Africa, as well as Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Angola, Mozambique, and Sierra Leone.

In 2023, SAIA was officially acknowledged by the current National Auctioneers Association of America board as being an important member in their organisation and offers all our members a NAA International Membership.
